Erin J. Tognetti

Erin J. Tognetti Erin J. Tognetti works on both the firmís litigation and transactional teams.

Erin graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a bachelorís degree in English. Prior to becoming an attorney, Erin spent 10 years in broadcast media with a Sacramento television station as the stationís Program and Research Director. In this position, she handled millions of dollars in contract negotiations for the acquisition of syndicated programming.

Erin earned her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she interned with the Placer County and Sacramento County Public Defenderís Offices, as well as interning with both the Placer County District Attorney and the California Attorney General.

In litigation, Erin has represented clients in a myriad of fields ranging from property and easement disputes, construction defect matters, real estate nondisclosure, and complex trust litigation.

On the transactional side, Erin has handled dozens of low-income housing tax-credit transactions from formation through acquisition and financing, business acquisitions and sales, and private security offerings. The most recent asset sale Erin worked on required a filing under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act with the Federal Trade Commission and involved the transfer of assets in excess of $150 Million.

Erin also assists clients with their estate planning needs from the initial drafting of wills and trusts through the entire probate process.

Erin is a published author and a member of American Mensa. She and her husband live in Granite Bay and enjoy traveling and scuba diving.
